Matt & Samantha: Williamsburg Engagement Session

williamsburg_engagement_session_0007.jpg

Sam and Matt are adorably in love. I know, all of my couples are. :) I really do feel lucky to get to work with such joyful people during one of the most exciting seasons of their lives. However, when it comes to Sam & Matt and this season being exciting, that could be a mild understatement!

While Matt's currently in medical school, Sam is pursuing a degree in law and together they are planning a wedding and maintaining a long-distance relationship.  Talk about being busy, committed, and full of excitement for their next season of life: being newlyweds!

They first met while in undergrad at William and Mary.  Sam shared with me right away how important it was that we honor that first chapter of their life together by shooting their engagement session around the campus of William and Mary. Umm... of COURSE.  I love, love any opportunity to learn more about my clients and things/places that are special to them. Capturing these two together in a location so special to them was awesome. I got to hear stories of their time together in college, shoot in a brand new-to-me location, and see a whole side of their lives I otherwise wouldn't have known much about. Love, love!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our time together:
