Tyler & Jay | King George Wedding Photographer

There is so much to say about this wedding! Tyler and Jay have the perfect hometown love story. They grew up in neighboring towns (rivaling schools, nonetheless!) and met at a concert. That night Tyler asked Jay for her number and she said "we haven't stopped talking since!" They stayed together through the challenges of long distance, finishing college and the job hunting adventure. I remember reading through their Getting to Know You survey and thinking "these two define the term love birds." They are over the moon crazy about each other and it's the sweetest thing! When asked what her favorite thing about Tyler was, Jay responded "What's not to like about him?" Seriously, can you get much cuter?!

They both grew up on the river and their parents are all big fans of everything nautical. It only made sense that it be a theme of their wedding. The big event was held on the property of Jay's parent's home. While the ceremony was nestled down by the water, the reception was held under a tent near the house. Of course I loved all the details they worked on, but more importantly, I love the deep love these two share with one another AND had surrounding them all day. They invited a large number of guests and I think I watched as they shared hugs with every person present. The joy their guests exuded for their marriage was undeniable. It was awesome being able to witness it all!

Okay, enough chatting. Here are my favorite images from their beautiful wedding on the river:

What a beautiful wedding! Thank you, Tyler and Jay, for inviting me to be there to capture it all! xo!
