Lynchburg Maternity Photographer
Expecting Baby B

I have been so excited to share this session! While my clients primarily choose to have their maternity sessions photographed at the studio, in the field, or in the garden, I do have a few clients who request entirely different locations. I am happy to go wherever my clients ask and for this particular session, I photographed this beautiful expectant couple in the nursery they designed just for their sweet little girl.

Their first babies made an appearance at the end of the session as well! They were so well behaved and have gentle demeanors, I know they are going to make the best big fur-siblings for the newest member of their family!

This little fur-baby has the right idea... now we wait! :)

A fall family session in the field

When Michelle reached out to me to shoot her maternity session, she mentioned she was a photographer herself. I was honored to have been her choice of a maternity photographer! Michelle and her family traveled from Roanoke for their session. I love the jewel tones she selected for their fall session - they were perfect! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our time together!

Charlottesville Maternity Pictures | A sunset session in the field

When Katie reached out to me last summer for an outdoor maternity session, she mentioned that she lived in the Northern Virginia area. I found out soon after her inquiry that she lived in Alexandria and wanted to travel to meet me for her session! What an honor! We decided to meet in Charlottesville at this whimsical field and I had a lovely time capturing her beautiful family (and their first baby - Benny!) during this short and sweet season of life.

A Family Maternity Session At The Garden

I have loved getting to know this family over the years. I first photographed them when their oldest was about 15 months old... and now she is a big sister! I remember being amazed that she was already identifying her colors at such a young age! That should have been a sign to their brain power. :) This family is the brains behind One Way Out, a local puzzle / escape room business. We LOVE to go when my genius dad and brother come to visit. Every time One Way Out opens a new room, we start coordinating another trip for my extended family to come into town!

Lauren came to the studio for a wardrobe consultation two weeks before her session and she selected one dress to wear and decided to also bring one of her own. I love the colors in this session and how everything came together so beautifully at the garden. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our time together.

A Relaxed Maternity Session | Lynchburg Baby Photographer

It could be the beautiful model, the all-white room, or the understated dress she is wearing... or maybe it was simply the enthusiasm in the air that surrounded this whole experience... but this maternity session photographed at The Fount Workshop is, hands down, one of my favorites I have ever photographed. Watching Abany Bauer style this session left me so inspired and gave me more tools to use when approaching my own work, which I've already started to use.

Below are my favorite shots from our indoor maternity session with Molly. Scroll down to see my favorites from our outdoor field session!

Molly Stilley was the Hair and Make-Up artist for all models during the workshop styled shoots and she made a beautiful model herself! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the styled shoot we did out in the field at Serenbe

Thanks to the incredible team that came together to make this happen:

Hair & Make-up: Molly Stilley
Styling: Abany Bauer, Brown Linen Design
Workshop Hosts: Tiffany Farley & Rylee Hitchner
Location: Serenbe, The Nest & The Field
Model: Molly Stilley
