Lynchburg Location Ideas

There are endless locations in Lynchburg for portrait sessions and I love all of them equally! If you are having trouble choosing the style of session you want, feel free to peruse the location ideas below. 

Something to keep in mind is your typical home decor preferences. Do you decorate with subtle colors? Bold, bright colors? Different locations offer different style of portraits and some may suit your personal style better than others. Keep this in mind as you look through the images below:

Old City Cemetery

A beautiful location with nooks and crannies everywhere! It is full of greenery and has a great spring-like feel. There's a wonderful mountain view right at the start of the cemetery... and don't worry, I avoid ALL headstones in pictures. :) 

Downtown Lynchburg

There are a lot of different looks and feels available in Downtown Lynchburg. There are brightly colored buildings, brick buildings, rustic and urban all within just a few blocks of one another. 

Riverside Park

This is my favorite place to take advantage of both fall and spring foliage! With walking trails, a view of the James River and even a few gardens available, it offers a great variety of backdrops for your session. However, it is full of playground options so if you have little ones that you think may be distracted, you may want to choose a different location.

Glencliff Manor

A stunning wedding venue available exclusively for my clients, Glencliff Manor offers a beautiful garden backdrop that looks great anytime of day! 

The Vaughan House Greenhouse

This unique and popular location includes an additional fee, but one many clients find worth it! With lush greenery, an adorable chicken coop, a romantic hammock, and cute nooks all around, it is a location unlike any other!
