I am so excited to announce my newest venture! Today I am launching a local photo booth business to help add fun, easy, and affordable entertainment to wedding receptions, private parties and corporate events. There are a lot of photo booth companies out there, but Lynchburg Snapshot Studio is proud to offer a clean and classic take on the average photo booth. With crisp black and white backdrops, black and white photo processing and YOU controlling the remote it couldn't be easier to have a great time while creating memories to last a lifetime!

field sessions | now booking mini portrait sessions!

Ahh… who doesn't love a rustic field session? I know I do!
I am itching (like crazy!) to get out and start shooting again! So I thought it would be fun to give this working mom thing a trial run in the next couple of weeks. I am opening my calendar for a very limited number of mini-sessions. See below for the available dates/times.

These sessions would be perfect for:
- anyone that needs a last minute Valentine's Day gift (give the gift of a session with a gift certificate OR have a session done and give the final product as a gift!)
- anyone celebrating a recent milestone: birthday, anniversary, and even baby milestones!
- business owners needing a fresh set of portraits/headshots to spice up their website or facebook page for the new year
- anyone in the mood to model for the camera!

The available dates and times are:
Saturday, January 28th at 3:30pm Sunday, January 29th at 3:30pm
Monday, January 30th at 3:30pm Tuesday, January 31st at 8:30am
Sunday, February 5th at 8:30am Monday, February 6th at 8:30am
And the nitty gritty:
- all sessions will take place in a field in Lynchburg, VA (contact me for details & directions)
- sessions will be 30 minutes long, allowing plenty of time to get a good variety of pictures
- sessions include 10-15 digital files (artists choice) delivered within two weeks
- payment is due at time of booking
- session fee is $300 ($50 off regular price!)

I am thoroughly enjoying and savoring these early days with my beautiful baby girl. In the moments between feedings, diaper changes, and rocking her to sleep, I find myself racing around the house, doing dishes, brushing my teeth, and making the bed. Anything I can do to make the house and/or myself feel fresh... something I so desperately need in order to prevent going absolute bonkers with all the time I'm spending inside. I have so much I want to do... but life is proving to make my task list difficult right now. I remind myself daily that my only responsibility right now is to feed and take care of Sunday. However... it's hard to hide from the following things:
- Prepare for this weekend's wedding
- Pack for myself and Sunday to spend the weekend in Fredericksburg
- Edit and deliver the images from two weddings
- Finish writing Sunday's birth story
- Edit and build Sunday's birth slideshow
- Write something (anything!) in Sunday's baby book
- Take pictures of Sunday
- Design and order Christmas cards
- Address and mail Christmas cards
- Decorate the house for Christmas
- Put up a Christmas tree
- Finish Christmas shopping
I have to tackle each item one at a time... in 10 minute increments. I am oh so grateful when Tommy is home to help hold the baby, even if it just means I have two hands to type a blog entry that says "I'm still here! I want to get the birth story and pictures online for you all to see... I promise! But I'm still slow and we are still adjusting."
So... I'll be back... and we'll get into the swing of things around here soon. In the meantime, Sunday is hungry again. :)
