Samantha’s Winter Maternity Session

I am so excited to share this gorgeous maternity session in the field with you!

All potential (and of course booked) clients are encouraged to schedule a studio consultation to meet with me and talk through options for your portrait session. Your options can range from locations to group photo combination varieties as well as clothing options. During Samantha’s consultation she told me right away she knew she wanted her maternity session in the field so we spent out time focused mostly on her clothing options. When she stepped out from the wardrobe dressing area wearing the pink dress and white sweater cardigan you see below, I am pretty sure I let out an audible gasp.

Josh and Gabrielle’s wedding at Glencliff Manor was a classic autumn wedding with many fall elements throughout the day. Their friends and family brought the love and support while Josh and Gabrielle shared so much joy all day long. It was wonderful!

This session with her precious baby boy was honestly a turning point for me in my newborn work last year. I loved capturing him in his natural sleeping positions, feet curled up on his belly and his head leaning on his shoulders. It all felt so uninterrupted and I fell in love with the organic baby approach so much more as I worked through this session.

I probably sound like a broken record saying “This is one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever photographed!” but I wouldn’t be a growing artist if I couldn’t keep saying that - right? :) In all honesty, this family was so pleasant to work with. Baby Levi was an absolute gem, sleeping through his entire session! Mom and dad weren’t afraid to show him all the love and affection and they all made my job so easy to grab some great captures of their photogenic family. :)
