Lynchburg, Virginia Maternity Session A Family Maternity Session At The Garden

I have loved getting to know this family over the years. I first photographed them when their oldest was about 15 months old... and now she is a big sister! I remember being amazed that she was already identifying her colors at such a young age! That should have been a sign to their brain power. :) This family is the brains behind One Way Out, a local puzzle / escape room business. We LOVE to go when my genius dad and brother come to visit. Every time One Way Out opens a new room, we start coordinating another trip for my extended family to come into town!

It could be the beautiful model, the all-white room, or the understated dress she is wearing... or maybe it was simply the enthusiasm in the air that surrounded this whole experience... but this maternity session photographed at The Fount Workshop is, hands down, one of my favorites I have ever photographed. Watching Abany Bauer style this session left me so inspired and gave me more tools to use when approaching my own work, which I've already started to use.

I had the honor of photographing Tyler and Heather's wedding just a few months ago. I loved capturing their celebration, so naturally I was even more excited for Heather to come to the studio for her maternity pictures! She is wearing a few pieces from the studio wardrobe and I don't think I could have asked for a better model!!

Oh my heart. I don't even know where to begin with these two. Ben is the younger brother of one of my amazing college roommates, Mollie. While I paid my way through college, I took a few semesters off here and there so I could work and save more money for school. During one break, I actually lived in the most adorable farm house in (the real) Farmville, VA and I would have to walk through Ben's room every day to access my little attic room. It was so dreamy waking up to a blanket of glowing fog as the sun rose over the farm every morning.
