Sneak peek: Nicole | Lynchburg Portrait Photographer

Hello and happy Thursday to you! I am on a roll here in the office - editing sessions left and right and getting a number of other things taken care of. One recent session I did was with my new friend, Nicole. When she called me and told me her vision for her session, I began leaning more and more towards a portrait / head shot feel with my ideas. I love doing these kinds of portraits for actors, musicians and the like. I wanted to post some of my favorites from my session with Nicole to share with my blog readers what exactly a head shot session looks like. The goal is usually to end up with a small handful of images to be used professionally - to attach to resumes or place on website profiles. Nicole had a variety of clothing options and a natural gift for modeling for the camera. No, seriously, I didn't have to say much to get the variety of looks and images I captured. She was a total natural in front of the camera! We had a fab time hanging out and even ended up splitting the session into two days (after a coffee break on the first day, no less!).

Here are a few of my favorites:

Sneak Peek: Erin & Andrew | Westmoreland Wedding Photographer

When Erin contacted me about shooting her wedding I was soooo excited! I have known her since our wee days of summer swim team practice when my sister was the assistant coach and we were the little swimmers. And now Erin is the assistant coach! Oh how times have changed. Erin is all grown up now and engaged to marry her super sweet fiance, Andrew. They made my job SO easy last week as we met up for their engagement session, what with their sweet chemistry and all. I am so excited for their vineyard wedding coming up this August. We're hoping that the insane heat we experienced during their session was not indicative of the weather on their wedding day. Fingers crossed for some nice, cool breezes that first weekend in August! Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session. Thank you guys so much for being such great sports about the insane humidity that day. I have to say, I think it was totally worth it!

Beautiful Savannah | Lynchburg Bridal Portraits

This weekend I joined the adorable couple, David & Savannah, to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends. It was an absolutely wonderful time and I am so excited to share with you a sneak peek from their big day. However, I have been (not so patiently) waiting for WEEKS to post some of Savannah's bridal portraits... and I cannot wait any longer! Please enjoy some of my favorite bridal portraits I have ever taken. Isn't she stunning?

Thanks to my friend Emily for the awesome job on Savannah's make up!

Sneak Peek: Matthew & Shannon | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer

There is way too much to say about this wedding to fit it into a sneak peek post. Instead, I'll say three words: Love, Joy, Happiness. Come back in a few weeks for more of their beautiful and timeless wedding and a top ten list of our favorite things/moments of their big day! For now, I'll let the sneak peek do the talking...

LOVED the moment of Shannon's parents seeing her for the first time!

And they're married!!!!

Sneak Peek: Megan & Trevor | Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer

Here's a quick sneak peek to hold over this adorable couple while I finish up processing their wedding. Stay tuned for a more in depth blog post about these two, including our top ten favorite things about their wedding day!
