I believe the most meaningful images begin with genuine connection. Getting to know you is one of my favorite parts of this work, and that connection continues to grow throughout our time together. During your session, I’ll gently guide you into natural moments of conversation, movement, and affection—helping everyone feel comfortable while leaving plenty of room for your personalities to shine. The result is a collection of images that feels relaxed, honest, and uniquely yours.

The Studio
Located in Forest, Virginia, the Liz Cook Photography studio was designed with mothers and growing families in mind. Soft light, a curated wardrobe and all the little necessities are waiting for you—so all you have to do is show up and let us take care of the rest.

The Investment
Portrait experiences begin at $450, with most families investing between $600 and $1500.

We are currently booking about 6-8 weeks out. If you are expecting a baby, we recommend securing your due month during your second trimester.

Yes! Every session includes digital images to download and keep.

We have multiple location options to choose from, including the option of coming to your home. While some locations include an additional fee, both the studio and the field are available for all sessions at no extra charge.

Absolutely. This is a key element to loving your final portraits! The studio wardrobe is available to all clients and has a variety of options for moms and babies. We will work together to make sure every person is dressed comfortably and beautifully with a final look that you love.

Not to worry! I have a whole slew of tricks in my bag, including prizes and games. The most important thing is that we make it an enjoyable time for your kids, so we can capture their true personality even if they aren’t excited for pictures.
