Brooklyn is the daughter of Allison, Sunday's first ever nanny. The whole time Allison was nannying Sunday she was also pregnant with this sweet girl. We had so many fun conversations about how Sunday was helping Allison's son, Aiden, get used to the idea of having a little sister around. When Brooklyn finally made her debut we were all so excited. It was really neat to introduce Sunday to the first "special baby" in our lives. We love Brooklyn so much already!

Baby S is home! She was released from the NICU about 10 days after she was born. She and her mama are happy and healthy and as I write this, her parents are preparing for a busy few days this week. They are moving! What a whirlwind! I was happy to visit with them for a bit and capture S's first few days in the house they will call "home" for only a few more days. I loved capturing these relaxing moments of them together enjoying one another before they take on a new adventure together! Here are some of my favorite pictures from our time together:

sneak peek: baby o | Richmond Newborn Photographer

I am headed out the door to meet my father in law for dinner (and tax talk - great way to wait until the last minute, huh?) but I wanted to post this quick sneak peek from yesterday's newborn session. This sweet girl was an absolute dream to work with, despite being older than most of my newborns. One of my favorite things about newborn sessions is simply holding the babes. I love to swaddle them up tight and just admire their soft skin and newborn scent. Baby O's mom and dad were so great about me holding her between set ups and I think that may have had something to do with her cooperation. Or... well... maybe she's just another one of those perfect little girls. ;) Yes, let's go with that!

Anyway, mom and dad, I hope you love these!!

and we can't forget their FIRST baby girl, Sadie!
