Lynchburg Newborn Pictures All the way from Alexandria

I had the honor of meeting this family for their maternity session back in October. Imagine how excited I was to receive an email from them about shooting their newborn session! I'll be honest, as we wrapped up their maternity session, I gave them a genuine recommendation to find a different photographer closer to home for their newborn session. Traveling 4 hours with a newborn can be challenging and I wanted to help them find beautiful images without having to make that trip.

But, they refused! :) Here is what K sent:

I have been looking far and wide for someone to do newborn portraits for us once baby boy makes his way into the world. The problem is, I just can't find the look I love... I think after doing maternity photos with you, I am really spoiled haha....SO I just wanted to see if you had any availability for us, if we were able to make the drive down to your studio once baby boy is here. Your work is just amazing and I know I would be disappointed working with anyone other than you!!

Of course, I was honored! I worked with them as they prepared for their trip by sending along preparation suggestions for the long car ride. And of course, it was all worth it! These images are some of my favorite newborn pictures I have ever taken, and they are thrilled, too!

K and W, thank you for trusting me during such an important season of your life! It was an absolute pleasure to work with your family and I can't wait to watch Baby E grow!

Ready to book your newborn session? I am already booking sessions as far out as August 2017. Newborn sessions are best scheduled between 8-21 days old. If you have waited until the last minute, please contact me - if I am able to fit you in, I will! I don't want you to miss out on the opportunity to have this short and sweet season of life documented.
